vi) Type of Stone: - P = Portland, M = Marble, WS = White Stone, S = Sandstone, G = Granite
         L = Limestone

vii)  Condition: - As above + GS (eg) NW = Grave Sinking + Direction, SF = Stone Flaking, Position of Flaking (eg) FL = Front Left, FR = Front Right,
        TL = Top Left, L = Lichen, OG = Overgrown, We = Weathering.

N.B.
a) There are references to two previous surveys - Sept 1914 by Mr. A. Weight Matthews (published as
  "Ye Olde Mortality, Bedfordshire, Vol Hundred of Barford) and a later survey c 1980 by Irene O'Dell
  These references are quoted where it is thought that they may be of help,
  eg, W/M p.55 No 74 or O'Dell

b) Some of the marker stones on the South side of the Church have been moved and are not necessarily with
  their correct H/S's.
